Instructions to Authors

Authors are requested to carefully follow the instructions below before submitting a manuscript to The BioNexis – An International Journal of Integrative Sciences.

CHECKLIST BEFORE SUBMISSION

General Manuscript Requirements

Manuscripts must follow the prescribed journal format and submission requirements.

The title should be clear, concise, informative and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.
✓
Author names and their order must be accurate and approved by all contributing authors.
✓
A valid email address must be provided for the corresponding author.
✓
Institutional affiliations of all authors should be clearly mentioned.
✓
ORCID identifiers should be provided where available.
✓
The manuscript should include an appropriate abstract and 3–6 relevant keywords.
✓
Main sections and subsections should be properly organized and numbered where appropriate.
✓
Acknowledgements, funding information and relevant declarations should be included where applicable.
✓
Manuscripts should be checked carefully for grammar, spelling, clarity and scientific accuracy.

Tables, Figures and Supplementary Material

✓
Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and presented clearly.
✓
Each table and figure should have an appropriate title or caption.
✓
Figures and graphical material should be of suitable quality and resolution.
✓
All tables and figures must be appropriately cited within the manuscript text.
✓
Supplementary material should be clearly labelled and submitted separately where required.

Originality and Ethical Requirements

✓
The manuscript must be original and must not have been published previously.
✓
The manuscript must not be under simultaneous consideration by another journal.
✓
All sources, data and ideas obtained from other works must be appropriately acknowledged and cited.
✓
Where applicable, ethical approval and relevant permissions must be clearly stated.
✓
Informed consent should be obtained and stated where applicable.
✓
Any potential conflicts of interest must be declared.
✓
Use of artificial intelligence tools must follow the journal's AI Use Policy.

References

✓
All references cited in the manuscript must be included in the reference list.
✓
Every reference listed should be cited appropriately within the manuscript.
✓
References should follow the journal's prescribed referencing style.
✓
References should be accurate, relevant and sufficiently updated for the subject area.
✓
DOI information should be included wherever available.

Final Submission Check

✓
Ensure that the manuscript file is complete, readable and properly prepared.
✓
Verify that the title page and manuscript contain all required information.
✓
Confirm that all tables, figures and supplementary files are correctly labelled.
✓
Check formatting, ethical requirements and all submission instructions before uploading.
✓
All authors should have reviewed, approved and agreed to the final manuscript and its submission.
